Wings for Life World Run beats all records

ARC Document Solutions

Runners in 34 locations around the world completed the Wings for Life World Run on May 8 2016 to raise money for research into finding a cure for spinal cord injury. The Wings for Life World Run is unlike traditional runs because the finish chases you.

From welcoming 130,000 global participants, the highest number ever, to both the male & female winners covering the furthest distances ever (88.44k and 65.71k respectively), to raising the most amount of funds from this event ever – a fantastic €6.6m (£5.2m)!!

Here in the UK 2,500+ participants arrived in Cambridge – the biggest number of UK participants to date! And the UK winners ran further than ever before – Garmin ambassador Steve Way covered an incredible 63.75k and female winner Caitriona Jennings covered 55.08k (20k further than 2015’s winner!). The UK race ended when F1 driver David Coulthard reached competitors in his Catcher Car.

ARC-UK is proud to be a gold supporter of Wings for Life providing printing services for all of their marketing collateral.
