Our brief?

Print, deliver, and install over 6,000 square metres of custom polyester mesh graphics across four key grandstands at the legendary Silverstone Racing Circuit – in just four weeks. But this wasn’t just any branding. These graphics needed to capture the essence of Lando Norris’s helmet brand, seamlessly integrate with McLaren’s visual identity, and electrify one of the most passionate F1 crowds on the calendar.

To deliver a result that matched the ambition, we used a high-performance, sustainable material:

1000Dx1000D, 12×12/inch polyester mesh – a PVC and phthalate-free substrate that is 100% polyester, highly durable and truly environmentally friendly. Designed for large-scale outdoor installations, this material combined visual impact with strength and sustainability – making it the perfect choice for Silverstone’s challenging conditions.

Our team also printed and installed 48 custom Grandstand Flags, ensuring Lando’s unique grandstands were visible from every corner of the circuit and across global broadcasts.

Meanwhile, the ARC design studio resized and adapted the supplied artwork, created precision cutter guides, and prepped the files for seamless production.

We were quick off the starting line with:

  • Brand-aligned creative development, working closely with Lando’s management and design team
  • Material and production planning to ensure durability, vivid colour retention, and ease of application
  • Site surveys and logistical planning, given the restricted access windows around Silverstone’s live event schedule
  • Despite the tight timeline, we left nothing to chance. Every stage – from first sketch to final fit – was executed with the care and precision you’d expect at Formula 1 level.

Grandstand Takeover

Across four grandstands, our team delivered a high-impact transformation that celebrated Lando Norris at his home Grand Prix – creating an electrifying atmosphere visible from every major camera angle and broadcast to hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide.

We installed over 6,000m² of branded vinyl, crafted from 1000Dx1000D, 12×12/inch polyester mesh – a PVC and phthalate-free substrate that is 100% polyester, highly durable and truly environmentally friendly. This mesh offered the perfect combination of durability, clarity, and sustainability, ideal for large-format branding in complex outdoor environments.

The activation involved:

Dozens of modular panel sections precisely engineered for a seamless visual experience. A complex matrix of elevations, curves, and mounting challenges that demanded creative, adaptive installation techniques.

48 Grandstand Flags lining the top edge of each Landostand, reinforcing the theme, and creating a unified, dynamic look.

This bold, modular installation not only honoured Lando but set a new benchmark in event branding – sustainable, spectacular, and unforgettable.

LandoStands at Stowe – Designed for Drama, Delivered by ARC

Situated at the end of the lightning-fast Hangar Straight, this grandstand captures the raw intensity of high-speed braking, daring overtakes, and split-second decisions – all in front of a backdrop brought to life by ARC UK.

We’ve transformed this key vantage point with striking grandstand graphics and bespoke flags, all designed to celebrate Lando Norris and his loyal fanbase. Every visual element amplifies the energy of this pivotal corner… a crucial circuit section where races are often won or lost.
